Christmas in a Cup!

Starbucks’ Holiday Drink Menu Review
Christmas in a Cup!

As winter is slowly approaching here in Tennessee, you can never really count on snow to put you in the holiday spirit, but the new Starbucks drink menu can! The company chain brought back four classic drinks for the season. These beloved items include the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. All are available hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino and are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit this winter season. Students here at Lenoir City share their thoughts on the new menu. Avid Starbucks drinker Ruthie Davis (12) expresses her joy about the menu,

“[My favorite Starbucks Christmas drink] would have to be the Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte because it reminds me of Christmas time, it’s like Christmas in a cup. I don’t care if it is eight dollars,” Davis said.

Junior Tori Bean shares her feedback on her favorite drink and how it gets her into the Christmas spirit this holiday.

“[My favorite Starbucks Christmas drink] is the Peppermint Mocha, and yes the drink definitely gets me in the Christmas mood! I love all the different flavors they have and I am so excited to go every day,” Bean said.

Along with the beloved holiday classics, Starbucks is also reigning in the new year by adding two new drinks to the menu, the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and the Gingerbread Latte, hot or cold. There are also new different flavors of foam for each drink; Peppermint Chocolate Cream, Sugar Cookie Cream, Caramel Brulée Cream, and Chestnut Praline Cream. With everyone spending a lot of money on Christmas and gifts this year, Starbucks wanted to spread the holiday cheer by making all handcrafted winter drinks or bakery items half-priced for the whole month of December. These holiday drinks really bring joy to the customers during this holiday. Whether it’s been a hard day shopping or at school, there is always something for each person to enjoy this holiday season at Starbucks.
