For the first time in two years there are only ten girls on the court. The girls are as follows:

Haley Arthur: Haley is the first girl in her family to be on the homecoming court. To her, it would mean everything to win homecoming queen. She is going to be escorted by Tristan Tarpley (12), but she has recently had knee surgery and feels safer to not walk.

Hadlyn Adams: Adams is the third girl in her family to be nominated onto the homecoming court. Both her mother and older sister have been on the court. She will be escorted by John Sims (12). If she were to win, it would show that her peers think highly of her.

Tegan Brown: Brown is the first girl in her family to be on the court. She thinks that it would be nice to win because she doesn’t get nominated for many titles and awards. She will be escorted by Preston Waggoner (12).

Jami Howard: Howard is the first girl in her family to be on the homecoming court, and because of that it is very special to her. She will be escorted by Justin Selvidge (12). If Howard were to win homecoming queen, it would be an honor to her and mean the world.

Emma Click: Click is a third generation court member. Her mother and cousin have been on the LCHS court. She will be escorted by Will Whitson. If Click were to win queen, she would be truly grateful and would be happy to represent LCHS.   

Sally Ford: Ford is the second girl in her family to be on the court. Her sister was on LCHS court in 2012. She will be escorted by Will Hodge (12). If she were to be queen, she would be proud to represent her school.

Maddy Brookshire: Brookshire is a fourth generation court member. Both of her grandmothers and mother were on the court. Her escort is Nick Plemons (12). Winning the crown would be something special to her.

These girls would appreciate your votes and support. Voting ends 9/22 at noon. There will be a pep rally during fifth block and the game will start at 7:30 at home. Crowning will take place during half time. Don’t forget tomorrow’s spirit day is black out. Happy homecoming!
