2025 Senior Trips

2025 Senior Trips

The end of high school only happens once in a lifetime. There are no redos, no “one more time”, just one and done. With only one chance to celebrate graduation, many of the 2025 class are celebrating with senior trips. Whether the graduates are going to a different country, next state over, or celebrating in Tennessee, the class of 2025 is starting new adventures all around. Senior trips make the teenage dream reality while traveling, gathering friends and family, and acknowledging the achievements and memories from high school.

Young Life is hosting a trip to Colorado this summer filled with friendship, excursions, and endless memories. In doing so, many Young Life senior students like Ben Rodriguez (12) are attending their senior trip.

“I love young life so much because it’s just a great experience, and it’s in Colorado this year, which is a great atmosphere, and it’s just a chance to get closer to your friends and closer to God. The mountains and the weather is just perfect there all around in Colorado,” Rodriguez said.

Spending a week with friends is an amazing experience for everyone. Davis Boals (12) is taking another approach for his senior trip. Boals is going across the country for sightseeing and strengthening family bonds.

“This summer me and my dad are going out West. We are going to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, probably Zion National Park as well. I am super excited. My expectations are to see everything I can see and have a great time and take it all in before I go off to whatever is next.” Boals said.

Although going across the country is a great experience, Declan Corcoran is widening his senior trip adventure to international waters. He is traveling over 4,000 miles away to live his childhood dream.

“We are planning to go to Scotland first and then go to Ireland. It is something we have been planning for a while since I was six years old, so it’s a really great opportunity to be able to go there. I am most excited to see all of the natural stuff in Ireland like the landscape and everything, it’s so green there.”  Corcoran said.

While senior trips are to celebrate growing up and beginning a new chapter in life, these trips also mark the end of an era. One last summer with the people you have spent nearly every day with for the past four years. Tori Bean expresses her purpose for senior trips.

“It is the last time to be all together before everyone parts ways. I mean we have been together for forever, so it’s just like the last thing together.” Bean said.

Closing the high school era and beginning their lives, the class of 2025 is deserving of endless memories for their senior trips.
