That time of year has come around again. The Fantasy of Trees has arrived at the Knoxville Convention Center. This year they are celebrating their 30th year of sponsoring this wonderful fundraising event. The proceeds from The Fantasy of Trees helps benefit East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Since its start in 1985, the event has raised more than $6.3 million to help provide the hospital with much needed medical equipment. More and more people are attending the joyous event. The Fantasy of Trees is designed, created and staffed by thousands of volunteers. The event features decorated Christmas trees that are auctioned off. There is also wonderfully creative gingerbread houses. The kids are not left out. There are rides, face paint and crafts that the kids love to do. But there is also shopping for adults. This event is a wonderful experience that all the family will love.
