Every year, there are million of shows that express the Christmas spirit and joy to their audience. One of these wonderful plays is the Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge. The show features many different elements of Christmas that everyone enjoys and loves. The performers sing classic Christmas songs, along with a few surprising twists that delights even the most stringent of classic song lovers. Another big part of the show is the comedic performances spread through the entire show. The comedian for the play acts as an elf for Santa in the play. His performance will make everyone in the audience laugh their socks off. He even performs a song that is hilarious. Even if you are not a big fan of Christmas shows, just seeing him will make it worthwhile. There is also ice skating, dancing, acrobats, live animals, a bit of magic and a huge band adding more to the wonderful music of the show. The kids can also enjoy Santa and his workshop during the play. Another major part of the show is a large on stage nativity scene with live animals and flying angels. This show is one that everyone in the family would love and enjoy.

Another thing that the Smoky Mountains Opry does is sell electric candles for a part during the show. All the donations from the candles help families in need and to other charities like Toys for Tots.
