This year Homecoming 2014 has changed its tradition, due to a tie, there will be eleven nominees instead of ten. The court consists of Havyn Adams, Sydney Bailey, Breanna Baker, Brianna Bowman, Kayla Heineken,  Matilyn Humphreys, Sarah Hurt, Haley Morris, Kelsey Shoemaker, Lauren Williams, and Elizabeth Young. This year the Panthers will be playing Kingston at 7 p.m. The Lenoir City High School Singers will be singing the National Anthem at the game. Along with the excitement of the game, spirit week will also add to the festivities. This year’s spirit days are superhero/Disney day, senior citizens day, Throwback Thursday, and orange and black day. The student council will be selling spirit links to increase each class’s spirit score. The links will be sold during lunch by the student council.  The class with the most school spirit will win the Spirit Sword for the year. On Friday, the homecoming dance will be from nine-thirty to eleven. This year the dance will be semi-formal. The theme is black and white. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods and will be available at the door for five dollars.
