Last Friday, August 22, If I Stay, was released in theaters. I went to see this movie last Saturday, and let me start off by saying that if you want to experience feels, go see this movie. Some critics anticipated it to be the next The Fault in Our Stars, but, in my opinion, The Fault in Our Stars was not as good as If I Stay. If I Stay was truer to its novel. The movie had plenty of emotion, more than I expected. I’m not going to spoil anything, but I will say that all of the flashbacks in the movie show you one of the best love stories that have ever been told. The end was left surprising to me, and it might be surprising to other viewers.  Nobody knows for sure if the second book, Where She Went , will be a movie. Even if the second book is not a movie, I highly recommend If I Stay. It could be a movie experience that you may never forget.
