American Horror Story (AHS)  is a beloved show by many. It has had a total of five seasons and has released season six as of September 14th, 2016. The show, prior to season six’s release, has been sending out many promos for the show. But only one of them reveal the true plot/theme to the season, as told by Stephanie Gibbons who is the FX head of marketing. “I think that the new season is going to be like that one tv show, The Haunting,“ said Cameron Kuykendall(9).

      This show has many people excited, especially one of the cast members known as Lady Gaga. She has made a new song just for the show called Perfect Illusion. This song was also shown during one of the promos and is rumored that they used the song for the real promo, revealing the plot/theme. The song has no video released yet and is already headed to be one of the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

       The cast has progressively grown over the time spent to make the season. Lady Gaga is to have a role in the show for another season but she took her time to think about wanting the role. Emma Roberts, as last seen in Coven, is also to be joining the cast for a more “devilish” role. There were many from previous seasons that were returning but there were a few that are just now joining the show.

     For those who don’t know, there are some that won’t be returning. Previous AHS star, Jessica Lange, had stated in a preview that she wasn’t planning to return.  “No, I had four years with that, four seasons, and each year was a marvelous character, everything changed from one year to another which made it very interesting to me. But no, I think sometimes you come to the end of something…,” said Lange.
