There are some new features which fans are excited about–Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Sun feature the language option of Chinese, which is a first for Pokémon.

Pokémon fans of LCHS are excited for this game, and are looking forward to new features. Ryley Schuster says, “[I’m looking forward to] probably the Elite Four, and the new legendaries. The Elite Four [challenge]  is frustrating, but it’s my favorite part of the game.”

When asked if she was looking forward to the game, Zoe Fred says, “Yes, I’m looking forward to Sun and Moon. One feature I’m hoping for is character creation to come back.”

Also, players will be able to use the Pokémon Bank to transfer any previously collected pokémon from Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Red, Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, and Pokémon Yellow into the world of Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Sun.

The only thing known about the release date is that it will be launched in the “holiday season” of 2016. Two new Pokémon, by the names of Magearna and Magiana were already revealed, leaving fans to expect a whole new generation of pokémon.

Alongside the new generation of Pokemon, players will venture into a new world, and meet new trainers. The setting is rumored to be in space, which is exciting, as this leads to many predictions of adventures. There are also rumors of a tropical setting.

This year, Pokémon will be even more venturesome and exciting!
