Food for Sale-Again

The LCHS Culinary Arts program is at it again! This time around, instead of selling pumpkin treats, they are selling Christmas cookie tins. In addition to the absence of pumpkin, one of the things that are different this time around it that the cookie tins will be sold to everyone, students, teachers, and community members alike.

Anyone who purchases a tin will get them on Wednesday, December 16th. It is $5.00 a tin a variety of cookies, and various Culinary Arts students will be selling the tins as part of their final grade. A full list of the cookies included with be below the article.

There are plenty of cookies with peppermint (that will be packaged separately inside the tin so all of the cookies don’t taste like peppermint), as well as some interesting and delicious twists on some classic Christmas treats.

Just like with with the pumpkin treats that were sold for Thanksgiving, the Christmas cookies in these tins are going to be delicious.

Each tin will have a variety of some or all of the following treats;

Snickerdoodles

Potato candy

Chewy brownie cookie

Cheesecake sugar cookies

Gingerbread men

Snowman Oreo Truffles

Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

“Gift Wrapped” homemade Oreos with chocolate mousse filling

Frosted sugar cookies

Thumbprint cookies
