45 years ago today one of the most beloved children’s television shows aired, Sesame Street. Sesame Street has helped teach children a variety of skills in a fun and entertaining way. Sesame Street characters have a wide ethnic diversity in order to teach children to accept everyone at an early age. In America alone over 8 million watch the show each week showing its immense popularity and success.
