497 years ago today Martin Luther marched to the Castle Church in Wittenburg, Germany and nailed his 95 Theses to the front door. His 95 Theses contained ideas for protestant reform including calling out the Roman Catholic Church for selling “indulgences” to give forgiveness for sins.
