Gone but Never Forgotten: Bob Saget

Bob Saget passed away on January 9, 2022, in an Orlando hotel. Officials have not yet been able to find the reason for his death. Bob Saget was an American actor and was best known for his role in the hit show, Full House. 

The cast of Full House released a statement following his death on Instagram.

“Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.”

One of Saget’s co-stars on Full House, John Stamos, released his own statement on Twitter after Saget’s passing.

“I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”

Saget’s family also released a statement after his death.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family said in the statement. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

We will forever remember Bob Saget as an icon in the acting and the comedy world. May he rest in peace.
