The Grinch
November equals the time of year where people drink a lot of hot chocolate and try to stay warm, but it is also when a lot of people start to get excited for Christmas. Well, what better way to kick off the start to Christmas than to go see a Christmas movie? A new remake of the classic, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”, came out last Friday. It has the voicing assistance of Benedict Cumberbatch as The Grinch, Cameron Seely as Cindy-Lou Who, Pharrell Williams as the Narrator, and more.
I personally have seen all three of “The Grinch” movies, I cannot say that this one beat the Jim Carrey version, but it was very close. The movie had the same basic plot of the original, but with a few different details.
Sydney Davis (12) and Kelley Metts (11) also went and saw the movie.
“It was very kiddish, but cute at the same time. I really enjoyed seeing it with my friends. Even if it isn’t quite yet Christmas,” said Davis.
“I really liked the new style of animation, and the details they added from the original ones. The Jim Carrey will always be my favorite, but this one is a great runner up,” said Metts.
All in all, the movie was a great way to start the season and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.
