Trump Bans Refugees

Trump+Bans+Refugees

On Friday, President Trump scribed his John Hancock on a couple of papers and made it into an official and banned over 218 million people from entering the United States.

It is only just a couple of days that President Trump has come into office and he is already keeping his promises.

He made this into an executive order, he banned refugees from entering the United States in order to keep America “safe” and keep it away from “terrorist attacks”.

The executive order bans people from Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen from entering the U.S.

After he made this executive order, he wanted to go as planned right away. There were some refugees, green card holders, and visa holders  that were entering in the JFK in New York airport and the airport did not want to let them pass.

Many people all over the U.S. got angry and started protesting at the airports and having marches. There were hundreds of people outside of the JFK airport protesting. “No ban, no wall, sanctuary for all!” were the protestors yelling as well as “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here!”

Not only were there protest there at the JFK airport, but as well as in Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego, Houston, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.

I am personally not a fan of this. I believe it is something that is inhumane. The refugees currently live in a live war zone and need somewhere better to live. Everyone dreams about coming to the United States and having a better live. Everyone deserves that opportunity. Every immigrant should be able to have a chance for a better life. We were all immigrants once. Our skin color nor race shall define who we are as a person. We should all help each other.
